About Me

Hi, my name is Sam. I’m a creative artist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. 

Originally born and raised in Rockville, Maryland, my creative journey began when I was young enough to pick up a pen doodle away. I grew up playing video games, watching anime and reading comics, all of which played an important role in inspiring me to create imaginative characters and worlds throughout grade school.

Since then, I’ve gone through many creative phases and evolved through different mediums. From comics, to illustrations, professionally developing video games, Virtual Reality, and creating animated music videos. I am a life-long learner and creative with no plan to ever retire from doing so.

My creative influences stem from Nintendo games, FLCL, One Piece, Calvin and Hobbes, esoteric mythology, music, gardening, folk tale and bluegrass. I tend to translate and pepper these influences through my illustrations, animation and game development.

I love working on creative projects and I would revere the opportunity to collaborate and bring my expertise to your projects whether it be illustrative work, animation or game development.
